Serving 1,100+ Companies Around the World

Mission Collage

Our History

In 2006, Jon Speer, a medical device engineer turned consultant, had the initial idea for Greenlight Guru, when he made a simple observation: paper-based quality management systems (QMS) are painful, risky, and inefficient. At the time, commercial QMS solutions had been available for nearly two decades, but only 30% of MedTech companies were actually using them. This observation led Jon and his co-founder, David DeRam, to develop Greenlight Guru. Today, with our powerful, intuitive solution, MedTech companies across the world can bring higher quality, life-changing products to market faster, more efficiently, and with less risk.

Growing

Growing Our Company

In 2022, Greenlight Guru acquired SMART-TRIAL, a leading Electronic Data Capture solution provider, adding to our offering for the MedTech industry. This strategic move strengthened our position, enabling us to provide best-in-class solutions for the different stages of the medical device lifecycle. Additionally, we acquired Vertex Intelligence, a  data consultancy that has helped integrate AI across Greenlight Guru's solutions.

A Foundation of Education

At Greenlight Guru, we're committed to helping you navigate the dynamic world of MedTech by providing the highest quality thought leadership and education to keep up with changes across the industry landscape.

Our Core Values

We're a community of medical device design experts with a range of experiences and areas of expertise. Three core values unite and inspire us to change the way people design, develop, and deliver MedTech products.

Be Innovative

MedTech companies must follow rules and regulations that are constantly changing. Keeping our customers one step ahead requires creative and innovative solutions. We strive to be innovative in everything we do — from our product to our services to our accountability system to our culture.

Fanatical Support

We are very passionate about what we do and take improving the quality of life through our customers very seriously. We believe in providing enthusiastic support to all of our customers. No issue is too big or too small to bring to us.

Culture of Closing

We follow through. We finish what we start. We are resilient and push forward with innate positivity to see things through to the end.

True Quality

Top-performing MedTech companies know quality is a competitive advantage, and we agree. We believe the entire company — not just the quality department is responsible for achieving this goal.
