Larry Mager

Larry Mager is a Senior Advisor to the UL EHS Sustainability Advisory Services team, supporting UL clients within the Life Sciences Industry to elevate their operational performance through innovative QMS advisory solutions.

With over three decades of experience within the Life Sciences industry, Larry is an accomplished quality management professional, possessing the leadership and strategic capability to create the highest quality outcome, enabling the delivery of measurable business improvement through the Quality Management System. His professional interests focus on quality system improvement strategy, as he has successfully led the execution of significant quality system remediation and improvement projects.

Larry has held executive management responsibilities providing him experience in quality and operations roles within medical device companies ranging from start-up entrepreneurial ventures to multisite, highly matrixed corporate organizations. His work experience includes direct leadership and management of quality functions comprised of over one hundred individuals and executive leadership of over sixteen hundred individuals within the site organization, all within a global corporate landscape of twenty-two thousand people. Additionally, Larry has had responsibility for corporate leadership of global quality & compliance for a Fortune 500 company.

Larry has a passion for developing and implementing quality system strategies that enable organizations to function in a manner that is compliant to regulation, effective in obtaining the necessary results and efficient in operational execution.

Larry received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Parkside. He is a patent holder of minimally invasive cardiovascular surgical products and a published author of QMS performance improvement strategies.
